Jared Dylan live at The Secret Garden, Galway

On the busy side of the West End in Galway, Jared Dylan began constructing his sound at The Secret Garden for his Consequence tour, on October 24, 2018.

And they say third time's a charm, but in the Jared’s case, he's been enchanting the Galweign crowd since his debut with Irish supergroup Aslan earlier this year. And so he returned for an intimate performance.

The 24-year-old musician has just released his highly anticipated short film and soundtrack Consequence, while touring the Emerald Isle from top to bottom and everywhere in between throughout this year. And he has certainly found his feet within the music scene in Ireland with all the glitz, embracing the somewhat competition as family, and blending in as one.

Before the set even began, fans waited in anticipation for Jared, the newest face of the alternative pop music scene in Ireland, there to carry out his comeback show to the city on the Consequence tour. Popular for his intensely personal music that is relatable in one shape or form, Jared is one of the few artists we have that has the ability to touch and make you feel something. He appears detailed and thoughtful. He could do no wrong.

He brings something new, different and much needed to music with his humble approach and ever growing amazing talent. As he brought out his acoustic guitar, he mesmerized the crowd before hitting into his brand-new released music. Jared is really something else. His artistic vision and ambition is what makes his presence remarkable.

He was only one song into his set, and the atmosphere of the crowd was warming and felt alive. It was a desirable moment. He played a range of songs from his brand-new concept album and a handful of covers. And he isn’t afraid to share moments of his life with the world, but not everyone has the courage he has.

Throughout his set, he was involved in every aspect of his artistry. He is an independent artist as he does everything himself; from the way he wrote, sang, produced, and performed. He needed nothing more than himself, his voice, and his guitar. It was just him and his guitar. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just him in an intimate setting with a full house of listeners. And he truly has an unusual confidence or, at least, moments to shine. He is charming with sweet, raw, and strong vocals that it elevated the acoustic setting.

Jared looked like he was in his element during his time entertaining the crowd. He was a true performer. He has a classic face with an eye candy appearance that is easy on the eye. He had amazing vocals and didn’t need to imitate the studio versions of his songs because he is as he sounds on the records. Perfection. The way he sings is filled with emotion. His art truly means something to him. He never fades away from himself, and he wasn’t trying too hard to just be himself. His energy was contagious and looking around the venue as people intertwined with one another, the vibe was fading the stranger mood as we all became family.

He poured his heart and soul into every song giving his all into his performance. This is what he’s meant to be doing. His effortless talents shine through and lighten up his face when he sang every note, hit every harmony gracefully, colliding with the instrumental fabulously, making it a night to remember.

He has a perfect and mesmerising ability to entertain and engage the crowd no matter the size of the venue. From the first note to the elevation of his guitar instrumental, Jared had it all going on. He is a promising act with great potential to achieve further success.

Having seen Jared live on numerous of occasions, his confidence always mind blows me. His excellent stage presence playing to any crowd size showcases his amazing ability for his music career and his love for his craft.

Ireland seems to be having a great effect on Jared. As his humble and extraordinary talents and personality shine through his musical persona and attitude with life, it’s safe to say he will be around for some time more.
