Colin Stauber’s recent music reflects growth, healing, positivity, the universal energy that resides in one another.

Colin Stauber is an American musician from southern California who creates music that brings awareness to positive change in the world. He discovered the healing power of sound after being associated with a horrible accident in Silver Lake, California. Stauber began to move his concentration into the recuperating specialties of music, sound and healing. His work has greatly increased in ubiquity and become extremely successful being featured on the news, digital journal and various media platforms bringing awareness to the power of music and its healing capabilities
Colin Stauber’s background entails composing music for Red Bull Media House, Red Bull TV and being highlighted on Redbull.com. He’s also a remote mentor for recording connections and helped over one hundred understudies graduate. He has successfully charted top 10 in alternative music on iTunes and worked with respectable organizations such as ableton, pioneer, native instruments, spectrasonics and roland. He lives in Los Angeles and creates music from his studio in LA where he releases music to bring awareness to his community.
Music has always been an outlet for Colin Stauber, “I have played music since I was young. I was a classically trained pianist and always loved guitar. Music was always an outlet of expression for me. It still is,” he notes.
His musical influences lead back to musical artists and bands he grew up on, with the people, events, and situations throughout his life that shaped him. Colin Stauber wants to create and do what comes naturally, in-turn, as he evolves so does his music.
He has released many songs this year, thus far, and throughout the years he has released music that was a reflection of who he was and what he was going through in that period of time. Each song is a different chapter of Colin Stauber’s life. In 2021, he released seven tracks that he felt needed to be released that showed how he felt. Most of his music comes out as a single just because it’s more efficient to get his work out there. However, he is in the process of recording another album to be released next year.
Colin Stauber is heavily involved in the music process in the songwriting and production part. He writes, records, and produces his own music. “ The help and support of others also helps me to get things done more efficiently. It’s always great to get help from friends and other producers,” he comments. As each song is completed from the heart, it’s truly shown in the finished product of the songs.
Simply the enjoyment of creating and his love for music is what keeps Colin Stauber drive alive as a musical artist. Also the listeners, fans and supporters. The people who listen and support his music are a big part of what keeps him going.
With the global pandemic of COVID-19 affecting the world in many ways, it took its toll on the music industry. When asked how this period of time helped his creative juices, Colin Stauber responds, “I believe music has a special place for healing in our society. I think now more than ever artists can release music that helps people. It helps them relate. Points them in the right direction or allows them to reflect and grow in a positive manner.”
When questioned how he would describe his musical artistry to someone coming across his music for the first time, he mentions it’s just “me”, Colin Stauber. No more, no less. He naturally writes what he feels and lets the music speak for itself. “It’s music for the soul, growth, reflection, enjoying yourself and feeling good,” he comments. He wants listeners to find their own meanings when listening to his music, “that's what’s great about music,” he notes, “each song can mean something else to someone else.”
